Cleansing Foods: From Carnivore Diet to Raw Vegan in One Year
Last year around this time, I did something that surprised even me.
For 9 days, I ate only animal—stripping everything back to the most primal way of nourishing my body. And physically? I felt incredible. Clear. Energized. Strong in a way that felt almost ancient.
But underneath that… there was a whisper I couldn’t ignore.
An ethical tension.
A quiet discomfort that didn’t match how good my body felt.
I talked about it openly on the podcast back then—how something can feel right in one layer of your being, and still feel… off in another.
And now, here I am a year later, doing something completely different.
A raw vegan cleanse.
More plants. More lightness. More sensitivity to the energy of what I’m consuming.
And if you’re tempted to ask, “Wait, which one is right?”
This is the truth I’m living into:
I don't know. It's complicated. And we’re allowed to change our minds.
We’re allowed to follow what feels aligned now, even if it contradicts what felt aligned then.
We’re allowed to experiment, to explore, to gather data—not just from our bodies, but from our hearts.
Because this isn’t about getting it perfect.
It’s about getting honest.
This week’s podcast episode feels like a continuation of that honesty.
I sat down with an animal communicator who has spent months listening—really listening—to the animals we so often make decisions about without a second thought.
We talked about the ethics of raising and eating animals.
About consciousness.
About choice.
And I’ll be real with you… it’s already shifting me.
Not through force.
Not through guilt.
But through awareness.
So here I am.
A year later.
A different version of me, asking deeper questions.
And I have a feeling… I won’t be done evolving anytime soon.
If you want to explore this with me, I’d love for you to listen to this week’s episode:
“The Ethics of Raising and Eating Animals: A Conversation with an Animal Communicator (Part 1)”
